About Me
I am a writer. At different moments in my career I have been a journalist, an artist, a teacher, a gallerist, and an author. But I have always written: features, columns, interviews, press releases, catalog essays, web copy, live blogging, fiction.
My interests and subjects have always been eclectic. I have written about sports for some of the world's major newspapers, but I have also written about contemporary art and artists for numerous magazines, galleries and museums. I have written about the politics of globalization, 19th century confidence men, David Beckham and spam emails.
I ask clients questions and where necessary, help them work out questions they should be asking themselves. I help establish clear briefs and work to them, promptly and efficiently.
My experience is unique. My years in sports writing have honed my ability to write accurately and emotively at speed, where it is necessary to file on the whistle, or to update as events unfold. But my years as a critical thinker within the art world have also taught me the importance of understanding and communicating complex ideas for both specialist and lay audiences.
Whatever your project, from speechwriting to ghostwriting, corporate strategy to shopping list, I can help.
